Jesus of Bethlehem or Jesus of Nazareth?
RESUMO
Este breve trabalho deseja mostrar que o texto bíblico evolui em seu registro acerca do local de nascimento de Jesus. Embora uns eruditos sustentem que Jesus nasceu em Nazaré, outros estudiosos afirmam que Jesus nasceu em Belém. Com efeito, a própria Bíblia apresenta esses dois locais de nascimento. Porque, sem abandonar o registro marcano, no qual Nazaré é o local de nascimento de Jesus, os evangelhos que lhe seguiram, acrescentam que Jesus também nasceu em Belém.
ABSTRACT
This short work aims to show that the biblical text evolves in its record regarding the place of birth of Jesus. Although some scholars maintain that Jesus was born in Nazareth, other intellectuals claim that Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Actually, the Bible itself presents these two birthplaces. Because, without rejecting the Markan record, in what Nazareth is the birthplace of Jesus, the gospels that came after it subjoin that Jesus was also born in Bethlehem.
